Singers CL and Blackpink Rosé attended the ‘Met Gala’ and showed the influence of K-pop stars in the fashion world.
The Met Gala was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on the 13th. The ‘Met Gala’ is a charity event hosted by Anna Wintour, the real model of the movie ‘The Devil Wears Prada’.
The hosts include movie star Timothy Chalamet, singer Billie Eilish, tennis player Naomi Oscar, and poet Amanda Gorman.
CL and Rosé are representative artists of K-pop, standing shoulder to shoulder with stars around the world. On this day, CL chose a unique outfit made of denim, which symbolizes America, in the form of a dress. Alexander Wang, the brand’s representative designer, who created CL’s clothes, shared a photo of CL and wrote ‘Alpha in America’. Rosé, the Saint Laurent muse, tied her long hair and styled it to show off her neat and colorful accessories. Rosé was escorted by Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello.
Anthony Vaccarello said in an interview in the past, “Rosé is the future Saint Laurent girl. A representative of modern society,” and delighted in collaborating with Rosé.
The theme of this year’s event is ‘American Independence’ and the subject is ‘In America: A Lexicon of Fashion’. This theme continues in May next year, Part 2, ‘In America: An Anthology of Fashion’.
