Day6’s member Sungjin delivered news to fans on the day of enlistment and surprised many, and the agency repeatedly asked fans for understanding.
An official said, “To prevent the spread of COVID19, the military enlistment procedure was conducted privately without a separate official schedule in respect of Sungjin’s wish to enter quietly.”
Sungjin informed the fans that “I tried to inform the news on the same day to minimize the painful time as much as possible.”
Just before entering the training center, Sungjin moved in the car and delivered the news directly to the fans live for about 30 minutes.
