K-pop group ENHYPEN has secured two nominations for the prestigious 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), further cementing their position as a global powerhouse.
According to the final list of nominees revealed on November 25 (local time), ENHYPEN is in the running for the Top Global K-Pop Artist and Top K-Pop Touring Artist categories. The BBMAs, one of the four major American music awards alongside the Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, and MTV VMAs, bases its nominations on performance metrics like album and song sales, radio airplay, streaming, touring, and social media engagement over the past year.
Record-Breaking Achievements in 2023
ENHYPEN’s latest achievements include the release of their second studio album, “ROMANCE : UNTOLD,” which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 (July 27 chart) and remained on the chart for 12 consecutive weeks—a personal best for the group. The album also achieved double million-seller status in its first week, highlighting their growing global impact.
The recently released repackage, “ROMANCE : UNTOLD -daydream-,” re-entered the Billboard 200 at No. 7 (November 30 chart) and set a new record for the highest first-week sales of any K-pop repackage album with 1.4 million copies sold.
Expanding Tour and Global Presence
ENHYPEN’s ongoing “WALK THE LINE” world tour continues to showcase their exponential growth, with stadium and dome concerts across major cities. Notable achievements include being the fastest K-pop boy group to complete a three-city dome tour in Japan (within four years of debut) and their upcoming performance at Thailand’s largest venue, the Rajamangala National Stadium, in June 2024.
