Idol group ENHYPEN has added another double million seller to their discography just five days after their comeback.
According to the album sales tracking site Hanteo Chart on July 17th, ENHYPEN’s (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Ni-ki) second full-length album “ROMANCE: UNTOLD” sold 2,113,143 copies as of July 16th. This marks the first time ENHYPEN has achieved double million seller status within the initial week of sales (known as the ‘first week sales’ period).
ENHYPEN has shown consistent and remarkable growth with each release. Their first full-length album “DIMENSION: DILEMMA” recorded 810,000 first-week sales. Subsequent releases saw increasing numbers, with “MANIFESTO: DAY 1” (1.24 million), “DARK BLOOD” (1.32 million), and “ORANGE BLOOD” (1.87 million) before reaching 2 million with “ROMANCE: UNTOLD,” marking a new career high for the group.
The album also performed strongly on Japan’s Oricon chart. According to the latest chart (dated July 15th), “ROMANCE: UNTOLD” sold 104,228 copies on its first day of release in Japan, immediately landing the number one spot on the “Daily Album Ranking.” ENHYPEN has now achieved number one on Oricon’s “Daily Album Ranking” with all ten albums they have released in both Korea and Japan, showcasing their unwavering popularity in Japan.
“ROMANCE: UNTOLD” tells the story of a boy’s loyalty to someone who makes him a better person. The title track “XO (Only If You Say Yes)” is a pop song that expresses the boy’s willingness to do anything for the special person if they just say yes, wrapped in a romantic fantasy narrative. ENHYPEN is set to appear on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on July 18th to perform “XO (Only If You Say Yes)” and deliver a high-sugar serenade.
