The world’s largest online K-culture festival “KCON:TACT 3” has confirmed its second lineup. Various artists that are gaining hot popularity both in Korea and abroad are raising expectations for ‘K Contact 3’.
Following the 2nd lineup, ACE, BTOB, Dreamcatcher, Jessi, JO1, Stray Kids, and Tomorrow by Together (TXT) were confirmed to appear.
First of all, A.C.E, who is growing as a global artist, has occupied the iTunes charts around the world with the new song ‘Fav Boyz’ (A.C.E x Steve Aoki x Thutmose’ collaboration) in 2021. As a K-POP artist who entered the US Billboard Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales Chart as the fourth among Korean idols, ACE is making a terrifying growth.
Since its debut, BTOB has been active in various fields such as music, drama, musical, and unit activities, and has achieved a record of 100 million streaming of ‘Missing you’. In addition, in Japan, each time it makes a comeback, it ranks at the top of the Oricon charts and continues to be popular both at home and abroad.
Dreamcatcher, which shows differentiated charms with novel storytelling and concept, can also be found in ‘KCON:TACT 3’.
Jessi, who had a hotter year in 2020 than anyone else, recorded the best sound record with ‘Nunnu Nanna’, and its music video is gaining steadily popularity, surpassing 89 million views on YouTube.
The 11-member boy group JO1, which was created through the creative Korean music system, was also named as the second lineup.
The stage of Stary Kids in ‘KCON:TACT 3’is also drawing attention. Stray Kids is solidifying its position as the next generation K-pop representative group. The total sales of albums based on Gaon Chart exceeded 1 million in 2020, and the fandom has grown even further and posted music videos of three songs ‘God’s Menu’, ‘MIROH’, and ‘Back Door’ on the list of 100 million views.
