The 5th ‘TTA’ preliminary round was held from January 12th to 26th. Finals will start from February 3 to 16, and ‘Best Global Artist in the second half of 2020’ will be born on February 17th.
The preliminary voting for the ‘5th TOP TEN Awards’ (hereinafter ‘TTA’), which selects the best global artists, has been completed.
The 5th ‘TTA’ is an event in which K-pop fans select the best artists through online and mobile voting in 10 regions including Korea, USA, China, Japan, UK, Thailand, Mexico, Malaysia, Philippines, and Indonesiasia.
The cumulative number of votes in the qualifiers held from the 12th to the 26th boasts a total of 7.15 million votes.
This is more than three times higher than that of the 4th ‘TTA’, proving the explosive response of many global K-pop fans.
As a result of the preliminary voting, a total of 7 artist teams including singer Daniel Kang, groups EXO, Seventeen, Got7, Pentagon, ASTRO, and Secret Number became the protagonists of a total of 10 regions.
7 artists, selected as the best artists in 10 regions, will compete for the position of ‘Best Global Artist of the Second Half of 2020’ through a final vote. The final voting will be held for about two weeks from February 3 to 16.
