GFRIEND has successfully ended their music broadcast activity for the title song ‘MAGO’ of their 3rd regular album ‘Walpurgis Night’ after SBS ‘Inkigayo’ broadcast on the 22nd.
Shortly after the release of the new album, GFRIEND was ranked #1 on the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 7 countries and regions around the world. On the chart of November 21 announced by Billboard of the United States, it entered 17th place on the ‘World Digital Song Sales’ chart with ‘MAGO’ and ranked 19th on the ‘Social 50’ chart.
‘Walpurgis Night’ is the completion of the series connecting the previous work ‘LABYRINTH’ and ‘Song of the Sirens’. GFRIEND expressed their desires honestly and confidently with colorful styling and makeup that we have never seen before.
GFRIEND also actively participated in the album work. Members Eunha, Yuju, and Umji participated in the work of the title song ‘MAGO’, and all the members were named for the first unit song work after their debut.
