(G)I-DLE’s latest single “Klaxon” is climbing the charts with impressive momentum.
According to Cube Entertainment, (G)I-DLE’s (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua) mini 7th album ‘I SWAY’, featuring the title track “Klaxon”, has reached number one on Melon HOT100 (within 30 days of release) and Genie real-time charts as of 9 AM on the 29th.
Additionally, “Klaxon” secured the second spot on Melon HOT100 (within 100 days of release) and TOP100 charts, as well as the Flo chart. It also achieved third place on the Vibe daily chart and fourth place on Bugs real-time chart, marking its presence at the top of major domestic music platforms.
“Klaxon” is a refreshing summer song characterized by its explosive string, brass, and rhythmic guitar sounds, with a catchy chorus that mimics the sound of a car horn.
Since its release, “Klaxon” has consistently ranked in the top 10 on real-time and daily charts of major music sites. The track’s popularity continues to rise with the summer holiday season, positioning it as a potential fifth consecutive ‘PAK’ (Perfect All-Kill) following the success of “TOMBOY”, “Nxde”, “Queencard”, and “Fate”.
(G)I-DLE will kick off their third world tour, “2024 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [iDOL]”, on August 3rd and 4th in Seoul, followed by performances in a total of 14 cities worldwide.
