HYBE showed off ‘HYBE power’ in the popular music world at the ’11th Gaon Chart Music Awards’.
At the ’11th Gaon Chart Music Awards’ held on the 27th, HYBE artists such as BTS, Enhypen, Justin Bieber, and performance director Son Seong-deuk won awards in 12 categories including album, sound source, and choreography.
BTS won the ‘Singer of the Year Award – Digital Music Category’ in May, July, and September for ‘Butter’, ‘Permission to Dance’, and ‘My Universe’, respectively. With ‘Butter’, which recorded 2,628,026 copies in 6 weeks, they also won the ‘Singer of the Year Award – Physical Album Category’ in the 3rd quarter.
Enhypen won the World Rookie of the Year Award. Enhypen, who rose to the million-seller rank after 1 year of debut with the first full-length album ‘Dimension: Dilemma’ released last year, won the ‘World Rookie of the Year’ with explosive growth, proving the presence of a ‘global K-pop rising star’.
Justin Bieber, whom SB Project under Ithaca Holdings is in charge of the management of, also achieved two gold medals.
HYBE not only achieved achievements in albums and sound sources, but also in the ‘Style of the Year Award – choreography’.
