The global rookie group KATSEYE, a collaboration between HYBE and Geffen Records, is raising expectations for their debut with a clear and direct message.
On the 25th, HYBE and Geffen Records unveiled the cover art for KATSEYE’s first single, ‘Debut,’ on their official SNS channels.
The released image features the title ‘Debut’ with a sparkling design, surrounded by shattered fragments, with porcelain dolls representing the members – Lara, Yoonchae, Daniela, Manon, Megan, and Sofia – standing amidst the debris.
This follows the preview of their debut song and performance highlights at the ‘AliExpress 2024 Weverse Con Festival’ on the 15th, building anticipation for KATSEYE’s solid debut.
In recent teaser videos related to ‘Debut,’ KATSEYE members highlighted the song’s qualities: “Bold” (Sofia), “Confident” (Yoonchae), “Shows who we are” (Megan), “Fierce” (Daniela), “Captivating” (Lara), and “Hot” (Manon).
KATSEYE was formed through the audition project ‘The Debut: Dream Academy’ and is the first global girl group launched by HYBE and Geffen Records. They will release their debut single ‘Debut’ on June 28 at 1 PM and will make official appearances at events like ‘KCON LA 2024’ from July 26 to 28.
