Rising K-pop group ILLIT is set to begin follow-up promotions with their track “Jellyous” from their third mini album BANG. On July 6, their label Belift Lab released a teaser for the music video via HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel, offering a playful, game-themed concept.

The teaser shows the members transformed into kitschy, hip game characters, with fast-paced beats driving the energy. Member Iroha is depicted running urgently through a game world, while the other members appear to control her from outside the screen—suggesting she’s the main game character. The video ends with the group being pulled into the console, building anticipation for the full release, which drops at 10 PM on July 7.

“Jellyous” is a dance-pop track capturing the mixed emotions of excitement and uncertainty before a possibly romantic date, using the metaphor of jelly to represent the blend of feelings, including jealousy. Known for their dynamic performances, ILLIT’s choreography in the teaser matches the song’s fast rhythm, hinting at another short-form trend in the making. Their current album BANG is proving a commercial success, surpassing previous sales in Korea and Japan. The title track “My Cat’s a Borrowed Cat” has climbed rapidly on the Melon chart, reaching No. 26 as of July 6.
