ILLIT (윤아, 민주, 모카, 원희, 이로하) continues to maintain a strong presence on the U.S. Billboard charts.
According to the latest Billboard chart released on July 16th (KST), ILLIT’s mini album title track ‘Magnetic’ secured the 20th position on the ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ chart and the 35th on the ‘Global 200’ chart for the week of July 20th. This track has consistently stayed on both charts for 16 consecutive weeks since its debut (April 6th issue). Notably, ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ ranking rose one position compared to the previous week.
Since their debut in March, ILLIT has made a significant impact on the global music scene. ‘Magnetic’ made history by becoming the first debut song from a K-pop group to enter the Billboard Hot 100 (April 20th issue), just 21 days after its release.
Additionally, their mini album ‘SUPER REAL ME’ entered the Billboard 200 chart at the 93rd position (May 11th issue). This marked a significant milestone, as ILLIT became one of the few K-pop groups to have their debut album and debut song appear on both of Billboard’s main charts.
In related news, ILLIT will be performing at the ‘2024 TMEA 5th Tencent Music Entertainment Awards’ at the Galaxy Arena in Macau on July 19th, marking their first appearance and meeting with fans in the Greater China region.
