The appearance of AleXa was refreshing. Last month, she released a new song ‘TATOO’, and this time, she developed an AI concept worldview. The song in the strong electronic genre was more accessible to the public, and the results were good.
AleXa’s next good start in 2022 is also expected. Here are Q&As of the interview with AleXa.
Q: The metaverse worldview cannot be left out.
A: I started it in 2019. There are a lot of fans who are looking forward to the video using the metaverse. So, I pay a lot of attention to the music video for each album. The story is gradually expanding, and if a few more albums come out, I think it will become a movie.
Q: What sets you apart from other singers?
A: An intense performance on stage. The storytelling-oriented line that follows each album is also different.
Q. Is there a singer you would like to collaborate with?
A: I want to try collaborating with Chungha, Mamamoo’s Hwasa, and Doja Cat. When I appeared on ‘Produce 48’, I saw Chungha on a set and talked for a while, and in the past, I’ve appeared as an extra in Mamamoo’s music video. I wish I could officially work on a song with them.
Q: The first singer under the GB label established by Zanybros, who produced many K-pop music videos.
A: When I first came to Korea, I didn’t know that Zanybros was such a famous company. When I debuted, there was no pressure of being ‘No. 1 singer’. But now that time has passed, the title of “No. 1 Singer of Zanybros” has become more burdensome.
Q: Is there a modifier you would like to hear?
A: I think it would be very happy if the modifier ‘a singer who is looking forward to the next comeback’ is added. I come back with a variety of concepts and stories for each album, so I hope you enjoy it.
