IVE has made their official debut as OST artists with the release of their first group contribution to a Japanese drama. On April 20, their new Japanese original song “DARE ME” was revealed as the opening theme for NTV’s new Sunday series DameMane! – Unpopular Talents, We’ll Manage You!.

The drama is a comedic “revenge” story about a rookie manager with hidden talents and insight, helping failed talents make a comeback, while hiding their own past as a genius child actor.

“DARE ME” was crafted exclusively for the drama and officially released on April 21 via global music platforms. The lyrics convey a message of self-acceptance and positivity, encouraging listeners to be comfortable in their own skin without comparisons to others.

This marks IVE’s first time participating in a drama OST as a full group since their debut in 2021. They expressed their excitement through their agency Starship Entertainment, stating, “We’re grateful for this opportunity to be part of a Japanese drama OST as a group. It’s a special moment for us.”

Following its release, “DARE ME” entered Melon’s HOT100 (within 30 days of release) and also ranked on Japan’s Line Music real-time and daily charts (as of April 21).

Meanwhile, IVE continues their Japanese fan concert tour with a stop in Fukuoka at Marine Messe on April 22 as part of their IVE SCOUT IN JAPAN series.
