On the afternoon of the 17th(local time in Korea), Jessi held an online press conference to commemorate the release of the new digital single ‘What Type of X’.
‘What Type of X’is a pop rock genre song that is different from ‘Nunu Nana’. Jessi’s vocal is impressive with a unique guitar riff and an addictive chorus on the track with intense synths and trap beats.
Jessi honestly expressed her unique self-confidence and self-esteem through lyrics such as ‘It’s not wrong because it’s different from you’ and ‘Don’t judge, don’t know life’.
Jessi said, “I’m very nervous. It was a little awkward when another genre of music suddenly came after the great success of ‘Nunu Nana’.”
Jessi’s new single ‘What Type of X’ is released at 6 pm on the 17th.
