JYP Entertainment will strengthen strategic collaboration with the famous American label Republic Records, and aim for the global success of Stray Kids and ITZY following Twice.
Republic Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music, told the local media on the afternoon of the 10th (EST), “We will strengthen strategic collaboration with JYP Entertainment, a group that is spreading the power of K-pop in the world. Stray Kids and ITZY are working together to achieve success in the US and globally.”
With this, JYP Entertainment and Republic Records will actively expand their global partnership by applying the strategic collaboration synergy created by the two companies to the activities of Stray Kids and ITZY, starting with Twice in February 2020.
Girl group ITZY achieved global achievements beyond imagination with their unrivaled performance skills. After entering the US Billboard main chart ‘Billboard 200’ for the first time with the 4th mini-album ‘GUESS WHO’ released in April 2021, the 1st full-length album ‘CRAZY IN LOVE’ in September took 11th place on ‘Billboard’. 200′, which raised the previous record by a whopping 137 steps.

JYP Entertainment and Republic Records have grown their influence by establishing Twice in the global music market since announcing the strategic collaboration agreement earlier. Twice entered the 3rd place on the ‘Billboard 200’ with their 3rd full album ‘Formula of Love: O+T=<3’ in November, which is their best performance and it achieved the highest ranking among pop groups.
The first English single ‘The Feels’, released in October, made its first entry into the chart Billboard ‘Pop Airplay’, which ranks songs that reach the most audiences on pop radio stations across the United States every week.
