KATSEYE Jumps 50 Spots on Major U.S. Billboard Charts

Global girl group KATSEYE, formed under HYBE and Geffen Records, continues its rapid rise on the U.S. Billboard charts. According to the latest Billboard chart (dated October 5), KATSEYE’s double title track “Touch” from their debut EP SIS (Soft Is Strong) soared 45 spots to reach 108th on the ‘Global 200’ chart. It also climbed 50 positions to land at 75th on the ‘Global Excl. US’ chart.

These charts, based on global streaming and song sales (downloads) from over 200 regions, differ from the Hot 100, which also factors in radio airplay and physical sales. As Billboard’s reflection of global music trends, these rankings serve as a key indicator of worldwide popularity.

KATSEYE’s album SIS (Soft Is Strong) also saw impressive performance, ranking 33rd on the ‘Top Current Album Sales’ chart and 35th on the ‘Top Album Sales’ chart. Additionally, the group placed 8th on the ‘Emerging Artists’ chart, remaining on all three charts for six consecutive weeks.

On Spotify, KATSEYE has been gaining traction as well. “Touch” jumped 28 spots on the latest ‘Weekly Top Songs Global’ chart (for the week of September 20–26), breaking into the top 100. The song initially entered at 155th and has been steadily climbing, ranking 88th on the ‘Daily Top Songs Global’ chart as of September 30.

KATSEYE was formed through HYBE and Geffen Records’ survival audition project The Debut: Dream Academy and recently completed a successful promotion tour in Asia, including stops in South Korea, the Philippines, and Japan.
