Rising Gen Z girl group KiiiKiii (Jiyu, Iseol, Sui, Haeum, Kiya) delighted fans with a special surprise for Children’s Day on May 5, releasing a themed dance practice video for their debut track “I DO ME” on their official YouTube channel.
Prior to the video drop, the group shared childhood photos alongside re-creations of those looks by the members. Dressed in playful outfits featuring frilled skirts and headbands, the members performed a charming version of their hit song. With imaginative inserts like “What class are you in?” and “I’m in the Chick Class,” KiiiKiii brought to life a playful playground vibe through both costume and choreography.
“I DO ME,” the title track from their debut album UNCUT GEM, expresses the confidence of a girl following her instincts. The new version further showcased the group’s versatility, balancing the song’s message of self-assurance with a whimsical, youthful flair.
KiiiKiii’s “I DO ME” continues to perform strongly, having topped YouTube’s trending music video charts and achieving a peak of #3 on the Melon HOT 100. The group also recently secured their first terrestrial music show win on MBC’s Show! Music Core, and currently holds the top spot in rookie idol brand reputation rankings for three consecutive months.
KiiiKiii is set to perform at KCON JAPAN 2025 on May 11 in Chiba, further expanding their global reach.
