LE SSERAFIM is set to make a comeback with their fourth mini album, “CRAZY,” on August 30 at 1 PM.
The group, consisting of members Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae, announced their return on August 5 via the global fan platform Weverse. The new mini album “CRAZY” is said to encapsulate a straightforward message: “Let’s just go crazy together with LE SSERAFIM.”
Simultaneously, HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel and Source Music’s official social media accounts released a logo motion video for the upcoming album. The video features the group’s logo being struck by lightning and transforming into the word “CRAZY,” delivering a thrilling visual and auditory experience. The inclusion of a new music snippet in the logo motion, though only 2 seconds long, with its sophisticated beat and catchy “Da da da da da” lyrics, has sparked curiosity among global fans, speculating it to be a part of the new song.
“CRAZY” follows six months after their previous mini album, “EASY,” released in February. LE SSERAFIM, who have established a solid presence in both the domestic and global music markets, are anticipated to reach new heights with this release. This comeback also follows their successful fan meeting tour, “LE SSERAFIM FAN MEETING FEARNADA 2024 S/S,” held from May to July in Seoul and four cities in Japan, further heightening fan excitement.
The group’s previous album, “EASY,” achieved triple million-seller status in South Korea. Internationally, they reached new career highs, with both the album and its title track making it onto the US Billboard’s main charts, “Billboard 200” and “Hot 100.” In Japan, they set new records in weekly album sales and points on Oricon’s charts. Leveraging these accomplishments, LE SSERAFIM topped various mid-year charts in 2024 from Billboard Japan, Oricon, and Amazon Music Japan, marking them as a leading K-pop girl group.
As anticipation builds, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of “CRAZY,” expecting it to deliver the group’s signature energy and musical prowess.
