NewJeans’ ‘OMG’ has surpassed 400 million streams on Spotify.
‘OMG’ shortened the record of reaching 300 million streams (126 days) of the single album pre-released song ‘Ditto’ by 11 days.
Both songs are still greatly loved, but ‘OMG’ surpassed the number of streams of ‘Ditto’ this time and stepped on the 400 million mark first.
It has been only three months since they were listed in the Guinness Book of England with the record of ‘K-Pop Artist Streaming 1 Billion in the Shortest Period’.
In fact, New Jeans’ single album ‘OMG’ took the top spot in the Oricon Weekly Combined Singles Ranking (as of January 16, 2023, March 13, 2023), and the song ‘Ditto’ is the fastest accumulated Oricon among foreign female artists. It has surpassed 100 million streams.
The title song ‘OMG’ of the same name as the album also recently achieved 100 million streams on Oricon.
