NewJeans will pre-release the music video for their track ‘Right Now’ on June 17. The group shared the second teaser for ‘Right Now’ on HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel at midnight on June 10. Unlike the first teaser, which only featured the instrumental, this teaser includes a snippet of the members’ vocals.
Notably, the teaser highlights a collaboration with renowned artist Murakami Takashi, showcasing unique visuals. The NewJeans members are styled with characters created by Murakami and elements from their previous work, ‘Get Up,’ which featured Powerpuff Girls characters.
The video concludes with the announcement of the music video release date (2024.06.17), heightening fans’ anticipation. ADOR, their agency, stated, “We plan to release the ‘Right Now’ music video on the 17th, four days before the debut single’s release in Japan. Fans can look forward to NewJeans’ charming appeal.”
In addition to the music video release, NewJeans will hold a large-scale fan meeting. Following the release of their Japanese debut single on June 21, they will host the ‘Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome’ fan meeting on June 26-27 at the Tokyo Dome.
