NMIXX is gearing up for their comeback with the surprise release of a sound teaser for their upcoming third mini-album, Fe3O4: STICK OUT, set to be released on August 19th.
On August 14th, JYP Entertainment unveiled the sound teaser on their official social media channels, intensifying anticipation for the album. The teaser begins with a haunting sound and a spooky atmosphere, immediately drawing attention. Member Jiwoo is seen wandering through a dimly lit hallway, discovering glowing star patterns along the way. She gazes at her reflection in a cracked mirror before staring directly into the camera, leaving a strong impression. The teaser ends with a mysterious humming sound, adding to the suspense and building curiosity about the full album.
Fe3O4: STICK OUT is NMIXX’s latest release, following their second mini-album, Fe3O4: BREAK, and its title track “DASH” from seven months ago. The new album features six tracks, including the title track “별별별 (See that?)”, which is described as a blend of groovy old-school hip-hop and country genres that showcases NMIXX’s chic appeal. The album also includes collaborations with prominent artists and producers like Balming Tiger’s Mudd the Student, Omega Sapien, and hit K-pop songwriter collapsedone, among others.
“별별별 (See that?)” continues NMIXX’s signature ‘MIXX POP’ style, which fuses multiple genres into a single track, offering a unique and diverse listening experience.
The full album and title track will be available on various music platforms on August 19th at 6 PM KST. To celebrate the release, NMIXX will host a countdown live at 4:30 PM on the same day and will open a pop-up store at The Hyundai Seoul from August 24th. Additionally, NMIXX will hold their second fan concert, NMIXX 2ND FAN CONCERT ‘NMIXX CHANGE UP: MIXX LAB’, from October 4th to 6th at the Jangchung Arena in Seoul.
