South Korean girl group OH MY GIRL is returning with a dreamy concept.
On the 26th, their agency WM Entertainment announced, “OH MY GIRL’s 10th mini album ‘Dreamy Resonance’ will be released today at 6 PM.” This new release comes approximately one year and one month after their ninth mini album ‘Golden Hourglass,’ which was unveiled in July last year, raising anticipation for the new stories the members will share.
Through ‘Dreamy Resonance,’ which signifies ethereal echoes and reverberations, OH MY GIRL is expected to showcase the essence of their unique, dreamy concept. Amplifying the group’s signature beautiful and mystical atmosphere, the members offer warm comfort to listeners, much like a cherished childhood stuffed toy that has always been by one’s side, especially as they mark their 10th anniversary since debut.
The title track “Classified” is a pop dance song based on classical music, featuring a fresh combination of piano, orchestra, and synth sounds that evoke a dreamy and mysterious feeling. The lyrics tell the story of dolls who stay up all night to protect their loved ones from bad dreams, conveying the members’ heartfelt affection toward their fans.
Including “Classified,” the album contains a total of six tracks: “Start Up,” “La La La La,” a duet “Sway (YOU & I)” by Yoo Bin and Arin, another duet “Love Me Like You Do” by Hyojung and YooA, and “Heavenly,” offering listeners a diverse musical experience. Notably, member Mimi participated in writing lyrics for three songs, including the title track, while Hyojung contributed to the lyrics of the unit song “Love Me Like You Do,” heightening expectations for a high-quality album.
OH MY GIRL will release ‘Dreamy Resonance’ across various music platforms at 6 PM today and will kick off their official activities with a fan showcase at Baekam Art Hall at 8 PM.
