BTS made a new record of being the top of the main single chart ‘Hot 100′ on US Billboard for 9 weeks in a row. BTS became the first group to leave a new footprint, provoking the status of a ’21st century pop icon’. RM said, “It’s like a dream. On the 21st, BTS was appointed by President Moon Jae-in as ‘Presidential Special Envoy for Future Generations and Culture’. Regarding representing the young generation, RM said, “We belong to the millennial generation. We will come complete with a sense of mission,” he vowed.
BTS also attended the UN General Assembly in September 2018 and last year to deliver comfort and hope for future generations.
