According to YG PLUS, an album distributor, pre-orders for TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s 4th mini-album “Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” exceeded 816,000 as of the 19th. This is a tally of domestic and foreign pre-orders for six days from the 14th when pre-orders began.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER is showing the standard of “step-by-step growth” by breaking its own record of pre-orders for the album in six days. TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s second full-length album “FREEZE” released in May last year recorded 700,000 pre-orders, and the repackaged album “FIGHT OR ESCAPE,” which was released about three months later, was 560,000 copies. TOMORROW X TOGETHER has established itself as a “fourth generation leader” by proving its unrivaled presence. The second full-length album ranked fifth on the Billboard 200 main album chart in the U.S. and was recognized as a K-pop masterpiece in 2021 from leading foreign media.
The new album will be released on May 9.
