QWER Releases New Album ‘Algorithm’s Blossom’ Today: Favorite Girl Band Makes Their Return

The band QWER (Chodan, Magenta, Hina, Siyeon) is set to bloom like a new flower within the algorithms. On September 23rd at 6 PM, QWER will release their second mini album Algorithm’s Blossom on various music platforms, marking their return approximately five months after their previous mini album MANITO in April.

The title track, “My Name is Clear,” is characterized by delicate emotions that resemble a personal diary, with a hopeful message about overcoming pain and moving forward. The song blends piano and guitar harmoniously, embodying QWER’s signature upbeat yet lyrical sound, delivering positive energy. Soyeon from (G)I-DLE contributed to the lyrics, composition, and arrangement, creating a perfect synergy with QWER.

The music video, released alongside the album, portrays a story of accepting and growing despite confronting one’s insecurities. The four members are shown with emotional depth, unfolding like a youthful film, while their natural beauty adds to the video’s charm.

Algorithm’s Blossom consists of eight tracks, including the intro, which sets the tone for QWER’s new narrative, and other songs like “Fake Idol,” “Let’s Love Even If the World Hates Us,” “Running,” a duet between Chodan and Magenta, and “Goodbye, My Sorrow.” The album concludes with the outro, expressing QWER’s determination as they bloom anew. With this release, QWER continues to prove their musical growth as they carve out their destiny, solidifying their place as a beloved girl band while aiming for another successful chart performance.
