BLACKPINK’s Rosé has achieved another historic milestone.
On January 27 (local time), Billboard announced that Rosé and Bruno Mars’ duet “APT.” has climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, setting a new record for a K-pop female soloist.
Since its release in October last year, “APT.” has maintained a strong chart presence, now marking its 14th consecutive week on the Hot 100 while reaching a new peak. Earlier this month, Rosé had already set a record as the highest-charting K-pop female solo artist by reaching No. 5—only to surpass herself with this latest ranking.
Released on October 18, “APT.” quickly became a global megahit, topping major domestic and international music charts. The collaboration between Rosé and global superstar Bruno Mars generated immense excitement, propelling the song to No. 8 on its Hot 100 debut and No. 4 on the UK Official Singles Chart, making Rosé the first and highest-ranking K-pop female soloist on both charts.
With “APT.”, Rosé has reached a new career high as a solo artist, solidifying her global influence and breaking records with each milestone.
