STAYC Wins First Place on ‘The Show’ with Bold Comeback Track ‘BEBE’

STAYC has claimed their first music show win for their latest title track “BEBE” on SBS M’s The Show, aired on March 25. This marks a successful start to their fifth single album “S” promotions, which showcases a dramatic shift from their signature “teen fresh” concept to a more daring and sophisticated style.

On the broadcast, STAYC performed both “PIPE DOWN” and “BEBE,” delivering a strong impression with their upgraded musicality and stage presence. “PIPE DOWN” highlighted their vocal prowess, while “BEBE” brought a funky, stylish aesthetic to the stage, amplified by bold fashion choices and confident choreography.

The performance of “BEBE” stood out with signature moves like the “Burnout Dance,” where members dramatically grasp their heads, and the “Radar Dance,” which mimics scanning the audience. These dynamic moves, along with the group’s synchronized and polished execution, added visual flair and energy to the set.

Upon winning, STAYC expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying, “We’re thankful for this award. To our fans, SWITH, we love you so much. Let’s give our all for this promotion!” They added, “We’ll continue to grow, so please keep supporting us.”

The single album “S” captures STAYC’s new artistic direction, with “BEBE” lyrically exploring the desire to break free from imposed identities and embrace one’s authentic self. The track’s mature themes and trendy production mark a new era for the group.

Looking ahead, STAYC is set to launch their 2025 world tour “STAY TUNED,” beginning with a two-day concert in Seoul on April 12–13 at the Olympic Hall, continuing their active engagement with fans both in Korea and globally.
