Stray Kids continue to solidify their position as global chart-toppers with their latest album HOP (合). Released on November 13, the album and its title track Walkin On Water have achieved remarkable success both domestically and internationally.
The new album, showcasing the eight members’ musical synergy, topped the Worldwide and European iTunes Album Charts on its release days and secured the number one spot on iTunes Top Album Charts in 28 countries, including Japan and Brazil. On the first day of release, HOP (合) sold over 1.42 million copies, becoming a certified “million-seller.” The title track Walkin On Water also claimed first place on iTunes Top Songs Charts in 25 regions, including Mexico and Chile.
The Walkin On Water music video has captivated audiences with its cinematic blend of classic aesthetics and trendy hip-hop energy. Featuring dynamic water-based visuals, the video has maintained the top spot on YouTube’s Worldwide Trending Music Videos for four consecutive days since its release. It also ranked on YouTube’s trending lists in 43 regions, including the U.S., U.K., and Canada.
Recognition at the “2024 Billboard Music Awards”
Stray Kids continued their winning streak at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards, held on November 12, where they won the Top Global K-pop Artist category. Following their historic win for Top K-pop Album last year, the group has now achieved two consecutive wins, further cementing their status as one of the world’s top artists.
Their influence was also evident on Billboard’s Year-End Charts for 2023. Albums 樂-STAR (Rockstar) and ATE ranked at number 4 and 9, respectively, on the Top Album Sales chart, with 樂-STAR claiming the highest rank for a Korean artist. Stray Kids also secured first and second place on the World Albums chart and were named World Albums Artist of the Year and the second-highest artist on the Top Album Sales Artist chart.

To celebrate the album’s release, Stray Kids launched a pop-up store in Seoul’s Jongno District, running from November 14 to 22. Additionally, they are releasing a remix single for Walkin On Water today (November 16), offering variations such as Sleigh, Sway, Sped Up, and Instrumental versions, enhancing the listening experience for fans.
