Stray Kids released their new album ‘ODDINARY’ and title song ‘MANIAC’ at 1 PM on March 18th (KST), and announced the splendid return of the ‘K-pop 4th generation leader’.
Including the title song ‘MANIAC’, ‘Venom (Spider Web)’, ‘Charmer’, ‘Freeze’, ‘Lonely St.’ ‘Blossom’, ‘Muddy Water (Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix)’, a total of 7 songs were recorded.
This is a record that exceeds the pre-order quantity of 930,000 copies achieved on the day of release of the 2nd regular album ‘NOEASY’, which put Stray Kids in the ranks of ‘million-selling artists’ last year, and about 400,000 copies, breaking its own record two days before their comeback.
It is foretelling a boom in the box office. At 0 o’clock on the 18th, a video of ‘Stray Kids’ was posted on the official social media channel and the impression of the new album was released.
Changbin, who worked on the title song, said, “I still think that Stray Kids’ music is for ‘MANIAC’ rather than popular. Through this album, I want to show Stray Kids’ true spirit.”
Starting with the final victory of Mnet’s ‘Kingdom: Legendary War’ in 2021, Stray Kids achieved remarkable achievements such as becoming ‘JYP Entertainment’s first million-selling artist’ with their 2nd regular album ‘NOEASY’, and winning the grand prize after 3 years of debut. They have established themselves as a representative group of the 4th generation of pop.
Stray Kids, who have created the group’s unique individuality with each album’s original concept and intense music, are expected to continue their unstoppable rise with the well-made mini album ‘ODDINARY’ and the title song ‘MANIAC’.
Stray Kids’ new mini album ‘ODDINARY’ and the title song ‘MANIAC’ was officially released today (18th) at 1 PM (KST. 00:00 eastern time in the US).
