Stray Kids continues to captivate global audiences with their new digital single “SLASH,” the OST for the movie “Deadpool and Wolverine.”
Following the release of their mini-album “ATE” and the title track “Chk Chk Boom” on the 19th, Stray Kids is set to drop “SLASH” today (23rd). This track, crafted by the group’s in-house production team 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han) and K-pop star producer VERSACHOI, is inspired by the “Deadpool” franchise.
The anticipation for “SLASH” soared after the “Deadpool and Wolverine” OST tracklist was unveiled, exciting movie fans and listeners worldwide. The new single will be available for streaming on various music platforms from 6 PM today.
Stray Kids’ unique connection with “Deadpool” began in 2021 when the group performed a “Deadpool”-themed stage on Mnet’s “Kingdom: Legendary War.” This performance caught the attention of Ryan Reynolds, the actor who plays Deadpool, who then mentioned Stray Kids on his social media channels, causing a sensation.
Bang Chan responded to Reynolds’ admiration with a social media post, further solidifying their bond. Hugh Jackman, Reynolds’ close friend and the actor who plays Wolverine in the “X-Men” series, also joined the interaction, delighting fans.

Stray Kids, recognized as “Global Top Artists,” will headline at “Lollapalooza Chicago” on August 2nd. They will also kick off their largest-ever world tour, “Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE>,” with concerts in Seoul on August 24-25 and 31-September 1.
