TEMPEST, a record of 8 months since debut… from the first #1 on a music show to winning the rookie award

With the title song “Bad News,” TEMPEST was nominated for the No. 1 spot on a music show just 6 days after their debut, heralding a new sensation for the 4th generation. 

With the 2nd mini album ‘SHINING UP’ released in August, not only did all the b-side songs enter the Bugs real-time chart, but they also proved the firepower of the powerful fandom by being nominated for No. 1 on music broadcasts for two days in a row. 

TEMPEST showed a more frightening growth through the recently released 3rd mini album ‘ON and ON’. 

Starting with the world’s largest K-culture festival ‘KCON 2022 JAPAN’ held at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan in October, ‘2022 MAMA AWARDS’ held at Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan last month ‘ and proved its global popularity. 

It was recognized as the best 4th generation male group that shone in 2022 by winning the male rookie award at the ‘2022 Brand of the Year’ and the ‘2022 Genie Music Awards (GMA)’, respectively, and held at the Nihon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan on the 13th. 

At the 2022 Asia Artist Awards IN JAPAN (2022 Asian Artist Awards in Japan), he won the New Wave Singer category and stood tall as a new protagonist in the music industry. 

Tempest, who created a sensation right after their debut, plans to end 2022 with splendor by appearing at the 2022 SBS Gayo Daejeon to be held on the 24th.
