The British Prime Minister wrote a letter to Blackpink.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson sent a letter of thanks to the members of the global K-pop group Blackpink, who are actively responding to climate change.
On the 25th, Blackpink received a letter from Prime Minister Johnson at a ceremony for the appointment of a public relations ambassador for the United Nations General Assembly of the Parties to Climate Change (COP26) held at the official residence of the British Embassy in Seoul, Jung-gu.
Previously, Blackpink delivered the message of climate change through a video posted on Blackpink’s official YouTube channel last December. Blackpink also emphasized the importance of COP26 in the UK in this video.
Simon Smith, the British Ambassador to South Korea, said, “We hope all the BLINKs around the world will join us on this journey.”
