Group NiziU continued its hit march with their 2nd Japanese single. NiziU’s second single, “Take a picture / Poppin’ Shakin” recorded 23,277 points, rising to No. 1 on the Oricon Daily Singles Chart on the 6th.
On the day of its release, they successfully made their songs to take from No. 1 to No. 3 on the real-time rankings of local music sites such as AWA and mu-mo, as well as No. 1 on the Japanese iTunes album chart.
One of the double title songs, ‘Take a Picture’, was pre-released on March 29 and then surpassed 12.5 million times on the latest Oricon weekly streaming chart (from March 29 to April 4, 2021), the highest ever in the chart, and achieved the feat of setting a record. They also took the top spot on the weekly charts of major music sources such as Billboard Japan, Line Music, and mora, and the music video is also receiving tremendous popularity, quickly exceeding 30 million views on YouTube on the 6th, about a week after being released.
