If we look only at various indicators that can measure global popularity, such as chart rankings, it is no exaggeration to say that Tomorrow X Together has already surpassed the competition within the 4th generation of K-pop. Tomorrow x Together’s 2nd regular album ‘Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’ surpassed 630,000 copies in album sales in the first week of release based on Hanteo Chart, a domestic album counting site. This is the highest record set by a K-pop group in the third year of their debut, and more than double the first week sales (303,190 copies) of the 3rd mini album ‘minisode1: Blue Hour’ released last year, increasing the size of the fandom. It is even more encouraging in that it showed a steep growth in album sales, which is reflected. Since then, Tomorrow X Together has been on the rise with outstanding results on major global charts such as Billboard in the US and Oricon in Japan. In particular, ‘Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’ proved its unrivaled presence by taking 5th place on the ‘Billboard 200’ chart, the main album chart of the US Billboard. ‘Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’ also topped the Japanese Oricon weekly album chart (as of June 21). Starting with ‘The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY’, followed by ‘minisode 1: Blue Hour’ and ‘STILL DREAMING’, 4 consecutive albums to ‘Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’ topped the Oricon weekly album chart. Tomorrow by Together is the fourth foreign artist in history and the second in history as an overseas male artist to rank 4 albums in a row on the Oricon Weekly Album Chart.
