Twice took the top spot on the Oricon charts with the DVD/Blu-ray ‘T W I C E’ commemorating the 5th anniversary of their Japanese debut and reaffirmed their strong local popularity.
On this DVD and Blu-ray, TWICE, who is celebrating the 5th anniversary of their official debut in Japan this year, has an interview video looking back on the past, as well as music for representative Japanese songs such as ‘Candy Pop’ and ‘Breakthrough’. Various contents are included, including a video collection, the stage and making videos of the online live ‘TWICE in Wonderland’ held in March 2021.
Prior to the official release, the nine members drew attention by releasing the video ‘Celebration message to myself’ containing a message to themselves through the official Japanese YouTube channel. Starting with the release of Japan’s fourth best album ‘#TWICE4’ on March 16, TWICE is introducing several projects to commemorate the 5th anniversary of their Japanese debut.
With the title song of the same name as the album name, which means ‘congratulations’, they express their gratitude to the fans who always send unchanging love.
Recently, TWICE successfully conducted their fourth world tour ‘TWICE 4TH WORLD TOUR ‘Ⅲ” and raised the status of ‘K-Pop representative girl group’.
In particular, they left their mark in history as the ‘first K-pop girl group’ to hold a solo performance at a stadium in North America.
