TWICE’s latest mini-album STRATEGY has soared to No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart, cementing the group’s dominance in the global music scene.

According to Billboard’s official report on December 15 (local time), STRATEGY, released on December 6, amassed a total of 88,000 album units, securing the group their sixth consecutive Top 10 entry on the chart.

A Record-Breaking Streak in K-pop

TWICE’s consistent chart success includes:

  • Taste of Love (2021) – No. 6
  • Formula of Love: O+T=<3 (2021) – No. 3
  • BETWEEN 1&2 (2022) – No. 3

STRATEGY adds to this streak, bringing their total to six consecutive Top 10 entries, a record for K-pop girl groups. This milestone solidifies TWICE’s position as a leading global act.

Powerful Collaboration and Global Appeal

The album’s title track, Strategy (feat. Megan Thee Stallion), captures the group’s bold charm as they employ “strategies” to captivate their love interest. TWICE’s confident performance, paired with Megan Thee Stallion’s dynamic presence, has mesmerized fans worldwide.

Reflecting on their achievement, the members expressed their gratitude through JYP Entertainment:
“This album was prepared with the hope of connecting with more fans. It’s been especially exciting to return to music shows after 10 months. Thank you for the overwhelming support from around the world.”

The group also hinted at exciting plans for 2025, including performances as a special guest at Coldplay’s Korea concert and a groundbreaking world tour showcasing a new side of TWICE.

A Year of Unstoppable Momentum

TWICE continues to break barriers. On November 21, they became the first K-pop artist to perform on Amazon Music Live, delivering a performance that set a record for the platform’s highest viewership. On December 31, they will conclude the year by making their fifth appearance on NHK’s prestigious Kōhaku Uta Gassen, Japan’s iconic year-end music special.

With STRATEGY and their ambitious plans for 2025, TWICE is poised to continue their reign as a global powerhouse.
