TWICE’s music video for “What Is Love?” has reached an impressive milestone of 800 million views on YouTube.

Released on April 9, 2018, as the title track of their 5th mini-album, the “What Is Love?” music video surpassed 800 million views on July 27 at approximately 4:30 AM. This achievement marks TWICE’s first music video to reach 800 million views, setting a new record for the group.

Composed and written by JYP Entertainment’s head producer Park Jin-young, “What Is Love?” captures the curiosity of girls learning about love through books, movies, and dramas, featuring bright and bubbly melodies. The music video, where members transform into iconic movie characters while exuding their signature lovable energy, has garnered immense love from fans worldwide.

In addition to “What Is Love?” breaking the 800 million view mark, TWICE boasts an impressive catalog of high-view music videos, including “TT,” “Likey,” and “Fancy” with over 600 million views, and “Cheer Up,” “I Can’t Stop Me,” “Feel Special,” and “Like Ooh-Ahh” with over 500 million views. Their collection includes 18 promotional tracks, four Japanese releases, and English singles “The Feels” and “Moonlight Sunrise,” totaling 24 videos with hundreds of millions of views, maintaining their record as the top girl group globally.

Recently, TWICE made history by becoming the first K-pop girl group and the first overseas female artist to perform at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, Japan, on July 27 and 28, concluding their fifth world tour, “Ready To Be,” in spectacular fashion.

This world tour, their largest to date, began in April 2023 in Seoul and visited locations worldwide, including Japan, North America, Australia, Europe, Southeast Asia, and South America.
