Forbes recently published a long article titled ‘IVE’s Debut: The Numbers Behind The New K-Pop Girl Group Boasting Global Potential’.
In the article, Jeff Benjamin, a columnist specializing in K-pop, said, “December 1 welcomes new girl group IVE hitting the K-pop scene with a slew of statistics indicating an exciting international response is on the way for them despite the increasingly competitive and increasingly international Korean-music industry.”
Next, Jeff Benjamin introduced IVE and said, “Consisting of members Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz and Leeseo, the sextet will debut from Korean super-label Starship Entertainment that’s helped a slew of artists like Sistar, Monsta X, WJSN and CRAVITY top the charts in both Korea and abroad with Monsta X gearing up to release their second English album just 10 days after IVE’s debut.”
Here, Jeff Benjamin praised IVE for recording a high number of views with various teasing contents, such as the music video teaser for their debut song ‘Eleven’.
IVE, who released the first single ‘Eleven’, plans to continue active activities through various music broadcasts and contents.
