Girl group Viviz will be the first K-pop girl group to perform for the Grammys’ digital series “Global Spin!”.
Viviz’s label Big Planet Made announced Friday that the girl group will be performing virtually as part of the Grammys’ series that sheds light on artists from around the world. The group will be showcasing the title track “Bop Bop!” from its debut EP “Beam Of Prism,” which dropped in February. The only K-pop acts that have previously performed for the series are B.I., Seori and Ateez.
According to Big Planet Made, the Grammys thought Viviz’s performance was “unbelievably cool.” The performance will be available on April 26 at 10 a.m. Viviz consists of ex-GFriend members Eunha, SinB and Umji. GFriend, the girl group that the three members once belonged to, debuted in 2015 and disbanded in May of 2021. The band is currently participating as a contestant on Mnet’s survival program “Queendom 2.”
