Dunamu’s technology subsidiary, Lambda 256, plans to issue NFTs, such as BTS goods, using its own blockchain technology, Luniverse.
Using Luniverse technology, NFTs can be issued without the process of mining cryptocurrency.
Lambda256 developed this new technology by applying the blockchain consensus algorithm of Proof of Authority (PoA).
According to Lambda256, the amount of electricity consumed for one year is 842.53 kWh, which is similar to the amount of electricity consumed by American households for one month.
Compared to the amount of electricity consumed annually by the Ethereum blockchain technology, it is one-millionth.
Dunamu CEO Lee Seok-woo said in an interview with E-Daily on the 13th, “We are targeting NFTs in three areas with a fandom: entertainment, sports, and art, and entering the metaverse.”
