YG Entertainment announced on the 3rd that it had commissioned a police investigation into the distribution of personal photos of girl group Blackpink Jennie.
On this day, YG Entertainment stated, “We are announcing that we have officially commissioned the police to investigate the person who first distributed Blackpink Jennie’s personal photos. YG has been continuously monitoring the contents and submitted a complaint in September after collecting information. YG has refrained from commenting and expressing its position in the meantime in order to minimize further damage. We are taking legal action against postings that damage the character and honor of our artists.”
Recently, several private photos of Jennie’s cell phone suspected of being hacked have been circulated online.
