Singer and producer Zico’s ‘SPOT!’ is achieving long-term success. According to the global music streaming platform YouTube Music, Zico’s digital single ‘SPOT!’ (feat. JENNIE) surpassed 100 million streams on June 2, just about a month after its release on April 25.
Zico’s team announced, “Following ‘Any Song,’ which has been streamed over 250 million times on YouTube Music, ‘SPOT!’ has become Zico’s second track to reach over 100 million streams.”
‘SPOT!’ also secured the top spot on Melon and Genie’s monthly charts for May, dominating the real-time, daily, weekly, and monthly charts of major domestic music sites. On Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform, Zico’s monthly listeners have remained steady at around 10 million since May 22.
‘SPOT!’ is the first track Zico released this year, marking his 10th anniversary as a solo artist. The song captures the unguarded moments between two friends who unexpectedly meet at a party late at night.
Additionally, Zico is currently active as the host of KBS2’s ‘The Seasons: Zico’s Artist,’ which airs every Friday at 10 PM.
