‘1 billion streaming’ BTS puts ‘Bibimbap’ on a Spotify’s commemorative plate

BTS, the first Korean singer to record 1 billion streams on ‘Spotify’, put ‘Bibimbap’ on a commemorative plate. 

Released in July of last year, BTS’ ‘Dynamite’ surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform. BTS is the first singer to achieve this record in Korea. 

Spotify presents a plate-shaped commemorative picture frame to artists who have recorded 1 billion streams, and artists who received the  commemorative plate held special celebrations in various ways, such as eating the food on a plate. 

BTS’ hit song ‘Dynamite’ not only streams 1 billion on Spotify, but also tops the US Billboard’s main single chart Hot 100 chart, the longest chart for a Korean singer, 1st place on the Billboard Digital Song Sales Chart 18 times, and a music video YouTube views of 1.1 billion.
