“Equality begins only when we open up and embrace all of our differences”..BTS, the leader of the era that visited the White House

BTS showed their influence by visiting the White House at the invitation of US President Joe Biden. 

BTS (RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, Suga, V) visited the White House on the 31st, the last day of the American ‘Asia/Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month’, to visit Joe Biden. They had a meeting with the president and offered their opinion on the ‘anti-Asian hate crime response plan’. BTS appeared in the briefing room with the White House press secretary on the same day to express their opinions. 

V also emphasized, “I hope that today will be another step towards respecting and understanding each other as a meaningful being.” RM added, “Thanks to the White House and President Biden for giving us the opportunity to talk together about important issues and think about what we can do as artists.” 

At the Los Angeles press conference held in November of last year, RM also revealed his position, “If I can have a voice, I always want to do it, and I think it’s good to do what I can.”
