The globally renowned K-pop group BTS has officially renewed their contracts with their agency, Big Hit Music. On the 20th, Big Hit Music announced that they had passed a board resolution to renew exclusive contracts with all BTS members, including RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. The contracts will be sequentially renewed, taking into account some members’ military service status. Those members currently serving in the military will have completed their service by the start of the new exclusive contract period in 2025.
Jin and J-Hope are currently serving in the military, while Suga is scheduled to enter training camp on the 22nd and fulfill his military service as a social service worker afterward. The agency, Hive, expressed its excitement about continuing to support BTS in their future activities and enhancing their global status.
RM, one of the BTS members, personally shared the news of the contract renewal and unveiled the “Public Cultural Artist Exclusive Contract” document. He added the hashtag #ARMY2025, raising anticipation for BTS’s full group activities in 2025. BTS debuted under the predecessor of Hive, Big Hit Entertainment, in June 2013, and since then, they have achieved remarkable success on both domestic and international charts, including the Grammys, American Music Awards, and Billboard Music Awards.
This contract renewal further solidifies BTS’s commitment to their agency and fans while hinting at exciting future endeavors for the group in the coming years.
