Girl group ILLIT continues to shine with their global popularity on the Billboard charts.
According to the latest Billboard chart released on May 29 (KST), ILLIT’s debut mini album title track ‘Magnetic’ ranked 11th on the ‘Global (Excl. U.S.)’ chart and 24th on the ‘Global 200’ chart, marking its ninth consecutive week on these charts.
Billboard’s ‘Global’ charts compile rankings based on online streaming and digital sales (downloads) from over 200 countries and regions worldwide. These charts are considered significant indicators of global popularity and trends in the music industry.
Additionally, ILLIT’s debut mini album ‘SUPER REAL ME’ secured the 7th position on the ‘World Albums’ chart, and the group ranked 27th on the ‘Emerging Artists’ chart.
ILLIT is also performing well on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform. ‘Magnetic’ ranked 44th on the ‘Weekly Top Songs Global’ chart (for the period May 17-23), maintaining its position for nine consecutive weeks. As of May 22, the song has surpassed 200 million streams, achieving this milestone just 56 days after its release—the fastest for any K-pop debut song to reach this figure.
Domestically, ILLIT continues to demonstrate strong presence on music charts. ‘Magnetic’ has topped the Circle Chart’s Global K-pop section for eight consecutive weeks and maintained the 4th position on Melon and Genie’s latest weekly charts (for the period May 20-26).
Debuting on March 25, ILLIT made a significant impact with ‘Magnetic,’ entering the Billboard ‘Hot 100’ chart at 91st place on April 20. This achievement marked the first time a K-pop debut song reached this chart and set a record for the fastest entry by a K-pop artist.
