Aespa received the ‘Song of the Year’ in the general category and the ‘Best K-Pop Song’ in the genre category for the hit song ‘Next Level’ released last year.
Aespa who succeeded in successive hits with ‘Savage’ following ‘Next Level’ was also selected as ‘Rookie of the Year’ and had a total of three trophies.
Aespa said in a video, “Thank you very much for this valuable award. This year, we will work harder and harder.”
BTS announced the potential of K-Pop by ranking first on the US Billboard’s main single chart Hot 100 for a total of 10 weeks with ‘Butter’ last year. BTS also posted a video saying, “Thank you for this glorious award.”
