“After the success of ‘Tomboy’, we lost money”… (G)I-DLE

The behind story of the (G)I-DLE’s album work was revealed.

“It costed the most,” Yuqi confessed, “When artists comeback, they usually make money, but our income is negative.”

During the ‘Knowing Golden Bell’ time, (G)I-DLE, who had a burning desire to win, played a game.

Minnie, Yugi, and Shuhua reenacted global famous lines in their own languages, revealing their hidden acting skills to their heart’s content.

(G)I-DLE made a comeback with their 5th mini album ‘I Love’ on the 17th and occupied the domestic music charts with the title song ‘Nude’, followed by hunting for the 1st place trophy on music shows.

Following the achievement of the domestic music site ‘PAK’ (Perfect All Kill), ‘Nude’ also took the top spot on the K-pop chart of ‘Wang Yiwin Music’, a large Chinese music site, proving its popularity not only in Korea but also globally.

Regarding this, Soyeon said, “Because of the title, the company objected a lot about whether it would be sensational. We are all born nude. I wanted to show that nudity is not a dirty word. I wanted to break prejudice.”
