Group MONSTA X (Wonho, Shownu, I.M., Minhyuk, Jooheon, Hyungwon, Kihyun) performed various activities throughout 2020.
First of all, MONSTA X released its first full album ‘ALL ABOUT LUV’ in the US in February, and ranked 10th on a total of 7 charts, including the first entry of ‘Billboard 200’, the Billboard main chart, and ranked within 10th on a total of 7 charts. Invited as the only performer in ‘TIME100 Talks’, MONSTA X did the opening and closing performances. They also served as an ambassador for the world’s largest scale 19th IACC, International Anti-Corruption Conference held in Korea last December, which was hosted by the National Rights Commission and Transparency International.
In addition to overseas activities, MONSTA X has steadily grown through domestic music activities. The new album contains the deep musical talemts of the members with Hyungwon’s first self-composed song, as well as songs produced by Jooheon and I.M.
In addition to group activities, each member showed outstanding musical talent through various personal activities.
Minhyuk showed his competence as a host in various broadcasts throughout 2020, and recently appeared on MBC ‘The King of Mask Singer’, adding delicate emotional expression to an attractive tone.
Jooheon proved that he is good at both rap and vocal as an ‘all-round player’ at MBC’s ‘King of Mask Singer’, and released his fourth mixtape ‘PSYCHE’ and ranked top 10 in 30 countries, including No. 1 in 16 countries on iTunes’ Top K-Pop Album Chart. I.M. performed global music activities such as featuring ‘Need to Know’ by ELHAE, a new American artist.
Seezn’s ‘MONSTA X is now on vacation’ revealed a normal and warm daily life, and MONSTA X also appeared in various reality programs such as Kakao TV’s “Face ID” and MBC’s “Point of Omniscient Interfere”, captivating viewers even outside the stage.
MONSTA X also swept various awards ceremonies throughout 2020.
MONSTA X will attend MBC on the 31st today, and will finish 2020 with a special stage.
